German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s speech on Ukraine was greeted with “great disappointment and bitterness” in Kiev.
The Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, Andrij Melnyk, told the Dpa. Ukraine welcomed Germany’s willingness to provide Kiev with additional funding for armaments, but not Scholz’s claims that the German armed forces’ export capacities are exhausted.
