On Labor Day, the best way to cap off our money-making activities is to sit back and just enjoy life and spring.
For once, it sure is the weather will not be our bane in that, with rain, cold, wind, i.e. earthquakes and bad weather, it prevents us from going out on Labor Day. All circumstances, including the weather, point in the direction that in the morning (or in the morning, because there might be some who would sleep a little longer on May Day) let’s turn up and create a day full of programs for ourselves. And from that, it will be possible to dam the Danube, and if we are smart, we don’t even have to spend a lot of money on them. Not to mention that a series of events will also be completely free. If we already work this much throughout the year, then this is the minimum.

On two legs or two wheels
If we go all day and choose the former method described in the title, Budapest and its surroundings offer many opportunities, but kind of real easy and beautiful spring tour the Alsó-Jegenye Valley route on the border of Budapest and Solymár or the Szent Jakab nature trail near Dabas. The first one is the many wooden bridges and the waterfall, and the second one is the swampy and wild environment makes it special. Two legs can mean not only a tour and an excursion, but a hearty city walk also, with the help of which we can rediscover the city where we live, or a part of it that we have never or rarely visited before, but we can get to know a new face of it, and we can also learn things about it that we had no idea about. Countless companies deal with city walks, but this one we can invent and organize for ourselves at any time us too, just it’s a matter of determination, curiosity and a little preliminary research the whole.

The city is a party!
There must be for whom the first of May is synonymous with the maypole, the communal party experience, and what he insists on. There are many programs for this in the city this year as well. Városliget is a traditional venue, but we can also go elsewhere.
