The Dutch Red Bull driver, current championship leader, was more than seven tenths ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris. Performance to underline, that of the young Englishman, because it was obtained with medium rubber. Third, just one thousandth from Norris, Lewis Hamilton with Mercedes. Fourth and sixth the two Ferraris, with Leclerc and Sainz sandwiched on Valtteri Bottas’ second silver arrow.
