The course constitutes a space of knowledge and reflection about the books for girls and boys produced today. Students will get to know a wide selection of children’s works, both fiction and informative books, that address some of the great challenges of contemporary societies (from climate change and care for the environment to migration processes or the emergence of social economies , among many others). At the same time, discussion spaces will be generated -through group workshops, case studies, etc.- on what these works can contribute to the construction of critical citizenship. This will favor the development of critical thinking in the students themselves and, more broadly, their training as future leaders who can integrate this knowledge into various professional projects, in a creative and interdisciplinary way.
