Grealish is freer for England than Man City

Jakarta

Jack Grealish don’t bother with criticism about his debut season in Manchester City. However, Grealish admits there are differences when playing in the national team English and City.

Grealish has only scored six goals and provided four assists in 39 appearances across all competitions. Although he helped bring City to the Premier League title, Grealish was considered not to meet expectations considering his transfer value reached 100 million pounds.

“It doesn’t bother me too much,” Grealish said when asked about his stats, as reported by Metro.

“I could have made more assists, even for England, I don’t know how many I made and how many penalties I got, maybe seven or eight.”

“I don’t think I scored enough goals for England, I still feel I could have scored more goals. I feel I could be involved in goals more often and hopefully I will next year.”

Jack Grealish admits he has more freedom when playing in the England national team than at Man City. The 26-year-old winger hopes to bring his game to City.

“I feel sometimes I’m a bit safe at City but when I’m here (the national team), I feel even in training I train well. Scoring goals, assists,” Grealish said.

“When I came in it was hard to explain. I feel I am playing with more freedom here and hopefully I can pass that on to the club and keep improving,” Grealish said.
