After the departure of Darío Espínola as manager of Arsenal, the board of directors is working on his replacement and one of the names that has been heard in the last few hours is that of Sebastián Grazzini, recently separated from Racing.
The coach comes from being with Ezequiel Videla as the interim duo of the “academy.” They took over after the resignation of Fernando Gago and led eight games, with three wins, three draws and two losses. Their last match was the loss on penalties against Rosario Central, last Sunday, in the quarterfinals of the League Cup.
Grazzini, who was previously a coach of the Racing Reserve, resigned from his position and was no longer part of the Avellaneda team. He is now wanted by “Arse”, who in the next few hours would make him a formal offer.
Beyond his interim position at the “academy”, he does not have experience leading a professional team. As a player he had a long career: Central Córdoba de Rosario, Racing, All Boys, Atlético de Rafaela, Nueva Chicago and Douglas Haig, among others.
On the other hand, in Güemes de Santiago del Estero, in accordance with the season that the cast had in which they were close to fulfilling their dream of entering the Reduced Tournament, the leadership began a restructuring of the squad for next year. The 28-year-old center forward left the club after reaching an agreement with the management to terminate his contract. His future could be in Peruvian soccer.
