Grażyna Bukowska, a former TVP journalist, warns against fraud
As we read, Bukowska’s vigilance was lulled by the authentic number of the bank where she has her account and the employee identification number of the “specialist”. She later received instructions from a fake representative of the institution with SMS and instructions to install the application to block “fraudulent activities”.
The journalist only hung up when an attempt was made to persuade her to change her bank password and enter a new one in the message.
The article continues under the video.
“I block cards immediately. I call the bank, report the matter, please block the accounts. And of course I find out that the procedure has been going on for several months, and there is a warning on the bank’s website. In red (…). Conclusion – read the warnings carefully on banking websites. And don’t be as stupid as I am “- warns Bukowska.
Who is Grażyna Bukowska?
Grażyna Bukowska is considered to be one of the legendary journalists and TVP presenters. She began her television career in the 1970s. She graduated in biology at the University of Warsaw, but did not work a single day in her profession. As luck would have it, she successfully applied for the casting for television.
As a presenter, 23-year-old Bukowska made her debut in the program “Good Morning in the Circle of the Family”. Then it was the turn of the magazine “Closer to the world” and the iconic “Warsaw Television Courier”. However, her greatest fame, popularity and recognition was achieved by joining the “Wiadomości” team with which she was associated for eight years. Later, together with Tadeusz Sznuk, she conducted “Questions for Breakfast”.
After resigning from work in TVP, she joined “Superexpress”, and then with TVN, where she was the head of the historical and documentary department. She eventually left the media to work in the public relations industry.
