The Graz99ers are planning intensively for the coming season and are planning their royal transfer Lukas Haudum is called. KAC manager Oliver Pilloni but doesn’t think too much of it.
With eleven goals and nine assists from 33 appearances so far, Lukas Haudum is having his strongest season to date in the KAC uniform and is arousing interest. The 26-year-old, who was active in Sweden between 2015 and 2019 and has 63 SHL games under his belt, repeatedly emphasized his renewed ambitions abroad, but now things could turn out completely differently.
As we already reported, the Graz99ers are after the Upper Austrian. Due to the restructuring and the associated takeover by Herbert Jerich, there are new financial resources and thus also goals in Graz. One of the big transfer targets is said to be Luks Haudum, who they definitely want to lure from Wörthersee to the Mur.
As the “Kleine Zeitung” reports, only details are missing so that the deal can be finalized, especially since Haudum’s contract expires at the end of the current season. However, KAC manager Oliver Pilloni would have little understanding for this intra-league change and told the “Kleine Zeitung”: “Haudum’s ambition should be to play abroad at some point. That’s how it was always communicated to me. If he follows the call of money instead, then so be it.”
