3rd win in a row for the Moser Medical Graz99ers. Head coach Jens Gustafsson’s team didn’t give the Bulldogs from Dornbirn a chance and in the end deservedly won 6-2.
The Graz99ers dominated the first 20 minutes in Dornbirn and deservedly took the lead in the 6th minute of the game. Erik Kirchschläger with the shot and Madlener was beaten for the first time that evening. The 99ers kept making the game and found great opportunities. Boivin only hit the bar in the 12th minute and Pfeffer (15th) failed from close range on the goalkeeper. Shortly before the end of the third the 2-0 for the 99ers. Michael Schiechl (20th) prevailed in the slot against two defenders and increased to 2-0. With this score it was the first time to go into the dressing room.
The almost 500 visitors in the exhibition hall saw a similar picture in the second section. The Bulldogs scored a lucky goal, but Andrew Gordon (52nd) scored in the majority with the Onetimer to 6: 1. Seconds before the end, the Bulldogs scored their second goal, but the Graz team went off the ice as a deserved winner.
