According to the Kronenzeitung, there was a sex scandal at a school in Graz. A teacher who teaches at a high school in Graz is said to have received nude photos from children via Snapchat and paid for them. The children are said to have approached the school’s tutors, after which the principal denounced them.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Graz confirms the investigation into pornographic representation of minors (§ 207a criminal code). At the end of last week, the teacher’s home was ransacked. According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the seized data carriers have not yet been evaluated. It has not yet been fully clarified how many victims there could be among the students. The educator was released from duty, the presumption of innocence applies to the teacher.
The photos are said to have been sent via the Snapchat messaging service. With this form of transmission, the photos are only visible to the recipient for a certain number of seconds.
