In July 2022, ESL and Gravity Media agreed on a partnership valid for the next three years: Gravity will provide production services for ESL’s global e-sports events. The current station for this was the Gravity Media Rio de Janeiro team. It was about capturing all the action from the first CS:GO Major event in South America: the IEM Rio Major 2022.

In this event, 24 teams competed from Monday, October 31 to Sunday, November 13, 2022 in two arenas, the “Riocentro” and the “Jeunesse Arena” for the coveted championship title and a total prize pool of US$1,250,000.

With all the action streamed on Twitch, international viewers could follow Team Outsiders’ journey to victory and the IEM Rio Major for two weeks.

A total of 40 Gravity Media team members from Great Britain and France were on site along with ESL for the event in Rio. Gravity Media used a total of 32 cameras, lenses, two jibs, two steadicams, six EVS systems, intercom solutions and sound systems to capture the 60+ players, the two venues and their competitions. The IEM Fan Fest was also covered in the surroundings and live studio was technically used.
