The harvest of AMD and NVIDIA seems to be slowly coming to an end, or at least these companies are taking a break. We could include Intel among them, but in this context, it is rather its new range of processors that pushes Ryzen prices down, and as far as the graphics card market is concerned, Intel still does not belong there. But there is a chance that even there it will contribute to a further decline in prices and contribute to the end of about a year and a half of lasting price misery.
According to the server THW An average 11 percent drop in graphics card prices can be observed during February, with prices from eBay. It is confirmed here that from afar the Radeon RX 6500 XT loses its value the most, what we wrote about yesterday in connection with the offer of the German Mindfactory.de. No other card is even close to its price drop of 25.5%, and this source has a really wide scope, including the cards of the previous generation. The closest is the GeForce RTX 3050 model with a decrease of 15.5%, ie again low-end, but this time from NVIDIA. –

So it seems that people are no longer willing to pay exorbitant amounts, especially for weak cards, when the price of even the executive ones is now falling. In our country, the decline in graphics card prices is basically the same, ie gradual and persistent, and we can forget that such an RX 6500 XT would sell for less than the recommended price. In general, it can be said that the prices of cards reached the minimum from last year, ie the values from the summer of 2021, or now they are rather below it.
So in many cases there are cards, for example some GeForce RTX 3080, the prices are below the annual minimum, but some like Radeon RX 6700 XT are still closer to that.
The customer is also pleased to see the development of Ryzen 5000 processor prices, as the price of the 5950X, the most powerful 16-core version, has also fallen sharply recently.

In American stores, this processor can be purchased for 600 USD, which is already a quarter below the recommended price, and in our country its prices fell below 16 thousand crowns for the first time, while at the end of February it was over 18 thousand and just after its launch 21 thousand, on which this Ryzen adhered for many months. I note that these are not average prices, but rather the cheapest offers.
From the opposite end of the spectrum is Ryzen 5 5600X, which approached CZK 6,000, while at the end of last year we were able to get it at best for CZK 7,500. On the one hand, the pressure of Intel, which offered well-available Alder Lake-S processors, can be clearly seen here, and this will probably be associated with the overall declining interest in new PCs. However, AMD will certainly not end up not knowing what to use its available production capacity in the near future. There are still plenty of products that are scarce and we can include among them GPU or APU for PS5. In addition, 7nm chipsets can be used on a wide range of processors, from the cheapest Ryzens to the most expensive server EPYCs.
