The Public Affairs Section of the United States Embassy in Malabo is pleased to announce funding for community projects. The Annual Program Statement invites applications for innovative programs.

Planned execution period: 1-12 months
Number of prizes expected: up to 5
Maximum individual grant amounts: $ 10,000
The United States Embassy in Malabo invites all eligible applicants to submit a proposal. The projects to be presented must have the specific purpose of promoting the objectives described below.
1. Motivate and empower young people.
2. Increase social inclusion (that is, equal rights and opportunities for women, LGBT people and people with disabilities)
3. Diversify the Equatorial Guinean economy (ie training in business development skills, promoting entrepreneurship, supporting tourism)
4. Promotion of the English language (ie promotion of clubs, forums, social media, education, and the arts)
5. Strengthening the media: increasing the professionalism of the media, accessing various news sources and developing an intelligent consumption of news.
