The little church of Sainte-Pétronille (photo), from Île d’Orléans, will not host musicians this summer. The directors and the management of the company announce with regret the cancellation of the 38e summer concert season Chamber music in Sainte-Pétronille. The hallmark of Chamber Music in Sainte-Pétronille is the unique musical experience created by the intimate setting of the church. However, the risk factors associated with COVID-19 as well as the uncertainty surrounding the evolution of the pandemic are not negligible and this is why the board of directors has made the decision to cancel the 2021 season. Jacques Gray, the president of the organization, invites loyal subscribers, diligent partners and generous subscribers to maintain their support during this critical period, because Chamber Music in Sainte-Pétronille will redouble its efforts to offer summer 2022 a season unforgettable.
