Granny is injured after being pushed onto the train rails in Brooklyn – Telemundo New York (47)

NEW YORK – A 73-year-old granny was pushed onto the rails of a subway in Brooklyn after her grandson got into a verbal dispute with the suspect, police said.

The victim was transported to Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition and was not hit by a train, authorities reported. The woman suffered bruises and body pain.

According to the report, the grandmother and her 30-year-old grandson entered the Clinton Avenue and Fulton Street station on Monday afternoon when the grandson entered into a verbal argument with the suspect that became physical. At that time the grandmother would have been pushed to the rails.

The suspect also hit another person other than the grandmother and the 30-year-old man. The third victim was an 82-year-old man. The three victims, who know each other, were transported to Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

The suspect would have fled the scene and there are still no arrests. This is a case under investigation.

The incident caused the closure of lines A and C from Broadway Junction and Jay St-MetroTech stations in both directions for a few hours. They are all up and running.
