Halvor Egner Granerud won the prologue before the competition in Lillehammer. The World Cup leader was 0.6 points ahead of second Johann Andre Forfang. The best among Poles was Kamil Stochy, who was sixth. A big surprise was the elimination of Andreas Wellinger in qualifying.
Six Poles qualified for the competition. In addition to Stoch, the competition will feature 12th qualifying Dawid Kubacki, 26th Paweł Wąsek, 31st Aleksander Zniszczoł, 34th Piotr Żyła and 40th Jakub Wolny.

Granerud turned out to be the best in the prologue, just 0.6 points ahead of his compatriot Forfang. The podium was completed by Ryoyu Kobayashi. The current leader of Raw Air 2023 Stefan Kraft took the ninth position. On Monday he was overtaken by Graneruda by 2.7 points.
It is worth noting that the conditions during Monday’s struggle were very uneven. The wind changed its strength and direction, so the judges often changed the length of the inrun. Andreas Wellinger became a victim of this situation. The top jumper of the World Cup jumped only 104 meters and did not advance to the competition.
