Grandson of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh Killed by Israel: Latest Update

Daughter of the Head of the Political Bureau Hamas, Ismail Haniyehdied of wounds sustained in the attack Israel Last week.

Grandson Haniyeh Malak died from severe injuries. In addition to Malak, his father and two brothers, along with four other Haniyeh grandchildren, died as a result of the Israeli attack.

The attack from Israel happened when the Haniyeh family was visiting relatives on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, at the Shati refugee camp in Gaza City. The car they were driving was hit by an Israeli airstrike.

“The blood of my children is not more precious than our people [Palestina]”, said Haniyeh in response to this incident, mentioned New Arabic.

So far it is estimated that about 60 of Haniyeh’s family and friends have been killed in the six months of Israel’s attack on Gaza.

Last week, Haniyeh stressed that the attack that killed his family will not change Hamas’s demands for cease-fire talks​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​front with Israel in Gaza.
