Huang Yongfu came to Taiwan with the government because of the war. He originally lived in Pingtung and served. However, he was injured during the 823 Artillery War in 1958. In 2008, Huang Yongfu simply felt that the cracks in his house were unsightly, so he started to repair them with paint and painted some patterns to cover up the bad spots. I thought that the house was old anyway and was about to be demolished. It was almost turning into ruins, so I asked Huang Yongfu to even paint their house. In 2010, Rainbow Village was in danger of being demolished, but with the help of professors and students from Lingdong and Hongguang University of Science and Technology, as well as many enthusiastic people, Rainbow Village was finally saved and became popular on the Internet.
