Overall, GTA V is the second most watched category on Twitch, after the ‘Just Chattting’ category, in which streamers talk to their audience without playing a game.
Second in the gaming category this year is League of Legends, with 1.8 billion hours. The game is followed by Fortnite, Valuing, Minecraft, Call of Duty: Warzone, Counter-strike: Global Offensive, Apex Legends in Dota 2.

The most popular game released on Twitch in 2021 is New World. It was watched 259 million hours and is the 18th most watched game on Twitch. Furthermore, Stream Elements reports that the most watched streamer of this year is xQcOW. People have watched the streamer for more than 261 million hours. This year’s hottest female streamer is Amouranth.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The game came out in 2013 and had the most sales since its launch last year.
