Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève Returns to New York: A Showcase of the Finest Watches of 2023

After an exhibition of the winners in 2021, the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève returns to New York and this year presents the 84 watches preselected by its Academy

This exhibition, magnificently organized by Watches of Switzerland, opened its doors from October 19 to 22 to the many watchmakers passing through New York, to collectors as well as watch lovers and enthusiasts in an extremely friendly atmosphere.

The Soho boutique was transformed for the event to accommodate the specific scenography imagined by the GPHG, Studio preorder&soldout and Dietlin Swiss Showcases, offering visitors direct access to the watches on display. With 84 watches signed by more than 50 brands, this exhibition presents a unique panorama of contemporary watch production.

After Macau, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and New York, the Rath Museum in Geneva will host all of the preselected timepieces, including mechanical clocks, from October 26 to November 12, 2023. The timepieces presented are in the running to be awarded one of 20 prizes, including the prestigious Grand Prix de l’Aiguille d’Or, which will be awarded on November 9 in Geneva during the 23rd awards ceremony of the GPHG, broadcast live on gphg.org from 6 p.m. (local time).
