The winner of the “Concert of the Year” category is the September 3 concert at the Riga Luther (Torņakalns) Church “Amao Omi /” Pointless War “.
However, the State Chamber Orchestra won the award in the category “For Outstanding Interpretation”Sinfonietta Riga” ensemble (Agnese EgliņaEgija Sproģe, Mārtiņš Circenis, Liene Neija-Kalniņa, Ivars Brīnums, Kārlis Klotiņš) and conductor Normund Schne – on the performance of the composition “Vortex Temporum” by the composer Gerard Grizz at the festival “Latvia New Music Days “on April 29 at the Grand Guild.
The winner of the category “Performance of the Year” is the director of the multimedia mono opera “Human Voice. Telephone” Sonora Vaiceorganized by the Operetta Theater.
In the nomination “For outstanding work in the ensemble”, the silver statuette went to the cellists Margaritas Balanas hands. In the nomination “Composer of the Year” was nominated in honor of the winner Jēkabs Jančevskis. The winner of the “Young Artist of the Year” category is singer Edgars Ošleja.
The “public sympathy” vote on the Delfi portal took place from February 14 to March 6. The nominee received the most votes in the category “Performance of the Year” – audiovisual concert performance “Shore on the Shore”, artistic director and conductor Laura Leontjevaorganizer – Saulkrasti Choir “Anima”.
The winner of the vote received the prize “Delfi Sphere of Excellence” created by the artist Gats Erdmanis and 1000 euros for advertising in “Delfi” media.
The Grand Music Award (LMB) is the highest Latvian state award in music. LMB organizes VSIA “Latvijas koncerti” in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia.
