Libreville, Tuesday November 28, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – Teams from the Gabon Energy and Water Company restarted the transport circuit of the precious liquid after a rupture in the pipes occurred during the night of November 24 to 25 in Okolassi, 35 km from the capital.
Water is flowing again from the walls of Grand Libreville after a few days of disruption due to a landslide in Okolassi, about 35 km from Libreville. Thanks to the mobilization of its teams, the Energy and Water Company (SEEG) initiated emergency work on the critical point. “While remaining mobilized to monitor the evolution of the situation, SEEG reiterates its regrets to customers for the inconvenience caused,” underlines the company in a press release.
In fact, a pipe buried under the road gave way after the embankment collapsed. A situation which has led to dysfunctions in the supply of precious liquid to the populations of the Gabonese capital and its surroundings.
