Grand Council Committee approves Polycom loan

The Security Commission (SiK) of the Grand Council has pre-discussed the business for the 2023 summer session. It supports the 2024-2028 credit for the operation and maintenance of the safety radio network Polycom. Annual credits of CHF 4.25 million and one-off costs of CHF 2.73 million are planned. Polycom is the safety radio system of the authorities and organizations for rescue and safety in Switzerland. It enables direct radio contact, in particular between the police, fire brigade, medical rescue services, the Federal Office of Customs and Border Security, civil defense and operators of critical infrastructures.
