A Grand Touring 7The Japanese development studio is indebted to the development studio for almost a decade, as the last numbered episode was released in 2013 on the PlayStation 3, which is about to run. Who still remember the Grand Touring 6for, they know that despite the marathon development time, the downright disappointing fifth was a turbocharged, arguably finished version that wasn’t followed by a real sequel to the PlayStation 4. It’s a really interesting addition to the already meditative gameplay, though it’s a bit disappointing that the renowned professionals, like Sarah and Luca, only see it in the form of a small image and communicate in text. By comparison: a Powerseries has been featured in its own voice for more than ten years by the scandalous car journalist Jeremy Clarksont.
Of course, as a café, the place is also a bit rare because you don’t get coffee, instead there are cars on the menu that you can win for certain races. That’s the career mode itself, meaning we go back to the Café from time to time to put Luca on our table with more and more difficult tournaments in it.
The latter is, of course, relative: with the money we get for the victories, we can buy faster and faster cars, or even tune in to our existing verdict to cut the race with a car twice as fast as the starter grid. Fraud? Maybe, but it coincides with GT traditions. The focus here is not so much on the challenge, as the rewards received in the competitions do not diminish in return for the silence of the riders ’artificial intelligence. It is much more important to have a sense of life in the car and to be able to sit in as many greenhouses as possible.
Let the tires burn!
Our competitor profile is also evolving depending on our collection, which we can fatten from several sources. I have already mentioned the cars won in the races, but we can buy them at dealerships, we can find pieces not available elsewhere at the used car dealer, and over time, a collection club will open where we can buy rarities that are not available elsewhere for millions of prices.
And that’s not all. There was talk above about the challenge, which is really not provided by the races themselves, but by the rights of the competitors, which will become a qualifier over time, as well as the circus, where we are facing increasingly difficult tasks. You have to overtake a couple of cars on a narrow, winding section in a given amount of time. You have to reach a certain speed by filling the road with an opponent and you barely get a few hundred meters straight. We need to cover all the buoys. I could list them by day, but the point is always the same: if we complete them at least in bronze grade, we get a special car (like a World War II American Jeep). However, if we reach the gold for all the challenges, another verda will roll into our garage.
Literally, these game modes tied you down the best in the test, and they caused your only frustration as well. There is no possibility to tune back in here, you have to go with cars with a certain performance. And since getting the right one over time is mandatory, no one can swim to learn to drive properly. Grand Touring 7-in. And of course the annoyance – the last, tenth task of the Super License is to say goodbye only in my nightmares, because the Nürburgring is slipping in the rain.
Apart from this, the Grand Touring 7 is a standard, relaxed racing game that performs admirably in numbers as well. Four hundred cars, dozens of locations, including real and fictional tracks, the latter even sections familiar to the veterans of the series. I’ll leave the number war to Sony’s PR detachment, but all I can say is that a GT7in no time no one will be bored. And after completing his career mode, there are still individual tournaments, the standard multiplayer mode, and the online league called Sport, which is the 2017 Gran Turismo Sport revives its traditions. This is already the field of the pros, where every small violation is penalized, and top-notch players can find themselves in the Pantheon of the e-sports world.

What’s new is that the minutes go by in real time, and it can easily happen that a race that starts even at dusk ends in the dark. Equally fresh is the dynamic weather, which scares the riders on a scale from overcast skies to doomsday. However, a kind of unusual dynamism pervades the game. Although I played with all parts of the series, I don’t remember the movement of the cars, the waving of the caste, being so authentic – and not just the GTwithin the series, but also in general.
Overall, the Grand Touring 7 it became exactly what we expected: meaningful, beautiful, interesting, yet traditional. And if it’s a tradition, Polyphony Digital has repaid a lot to Playstation 4 fans, as the previous three Sony consoles always have two GTgame has appeared.
