SEOUL, 06 Jan. (Yonhap) – Following the postponement of the 2022 Grammy Awards due to fears of the Omicron variant of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), K-pop group Bangtan Boys (BTS) also canceled the trip that ‘he had planned to do in the United States this month.

BTS has been nominated for the Best Pop Duo / Group Performance award for the second year in a row. The members of the septet are currently on vacation with their families since the Los Angeles concert series ended in November and December 2021.
—
The 64th Grammy Awards were originally scheduled to take place on Jan.31 (U.S. time), but the organizer has postponed it. The new date has not yet been announced.
—
With this decision, the next official activity of the group BTS will be a concert in Seoul next March, probably at the Olympic stadium in Jamsil. If it actually takes place in this stadium, it will be filled to one tenth of its capacity, the number of spectators being limited to 4,000 according to health regulations.
—
The Big Hit Music production house is determined to organize this face-to-face concert, the first since October 2019 in Seoul. There will therefore be stiff competition for the purchase of entrance tickets given the speed of sales of the 214,000 seats in Los Angeles concerts.
—
It is highly likely that the production house will broadcast the concert online as it did for those in Los Angeles.
