The Niche Group won the Grammy in the category of Best Latin Tropical Album for his album ’40’.

“It is a reward for an effort and a job well done (…) It is a joint effort that has given us a reward and makes us happy,” said José Aguirre, its current director, when Niche received the nomination.
Niche competed with Jorge Celedón (‘I keep singing to love’ (deluxe)); Víctor Manuelle (‘Memories of Christmas’); José Alberto El Canario (‘My tumbao’), and Edwin Bonilla (‘Infinite’).

While Kanye West won with the album ‘Jesus is King’ the gramophone in the category of Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.
– Other specialized categories were delivered, such as Best design of a special box for an album, which was for the band Wilco, with ‘Ode to Joy’, as well as Beck’s ‘Hyperspace’, which won Best Engineering Work of a Classic Album.
