Gram panchayat employee caught by vigilance while accepting bribe in Malappuram Pulikal. Subhash Kumar, Head Clerk of Pulikal Panchayat, was caught by the vigilance. The arrest was made on the complaint of Mufeed, a resident of Kondoti. Mufid and his friend come to Pulikal Panchayat for permission to build a house. Head Clerk C. Subhash Kumar’s demand. Along with the application fee of Rs.53,000, a bribe of Rs.5000 has to be paid. With this, Mufid lodged a complaint with Vigilance.
According to the instructions of the vigilance, he reached the panchayat office this afternoon and handed over the money. Subhash Kumar’s demand was to put the money on the table. When the complainant was not ready to comply, he took money from the dining room. A team led by Vigilance DySP Feroz M Rafeeq, who followed, arrested Subhash.
