Gold prices jumped in the local market by 10 pounds per gram, during trading today, Saturday, compared to yesterday.
Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-gram gold price today was 715 pounds compared to 705 pounds yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold today rose to 612.8 pounds, 24 carats to 817.1 pounds, and the gold pound rose to 5720 pounds.
Gold prices ended the week’s trading yesterday slightly lower, according to Bloomberg data.
The price of an ounce of gold on the global stock exchange, at the end of trading, reached 1628.1 dollars, a decrease of 0.19% from the start of trading.
Today and tomorrow is an official holiday on the world stock exchanges.
