Preco will install a new experimental production line for high-performance grain forging components, which will enable the production of parts using a new unified metal loading, stamping, cutting, cutting, bending, forming, sorting and special hinge manufacturing technology.

This will enable the modernization of the production process, increase capacity and ensure the production of both more technologically sophisticated parts and a new type of flow-through grain kiln – with an innovative centrifugal dust removal system. In turn, the company will be able to use the available free production capacity to outsource to other metalworking companies.

Preco exports more than 60% of its production and drying equipment for cereals, fodder plants, pulses, seeds and other bulk products.

“We have accumulated more than 20 years of experience in the grain processing equipment industry and currently export production equipment mainly to the European Union. We have a stable circle of regular customers, so the pandemic has not significantly affected our production volumes,” Valdis Pabērzs, Member of Preco .

Funding from the Central Finance and Contracts Agency (CFLA) has also been attracted to the project.
