Graham Roberts suggested on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur president Daniel Levy should appoint Glenn Hoddle as the club’s new manager.
The former Tottenham star believes the 63-year-old would do a better job at Spurs than some of the names linked to the north London club.
The Guardian has reported that Tottenham has started negotiations with Gennaro Gattuso after talks with Paulo Fonseca broke down.
Hoddle is a former Tottenham midfielder who coached the first team from 2001 to 2003.

I understand the feeling
I am absolutely blessed to be able to interview Glenn from time to time, and I know what Tottenham is like. He once said he would crawl on broken glass for the Spurs. But the facts are that the eighth richest club in world football should not act like this https://t.co/PLkWAEwNTQ

So let’s go for a manager like Gattuso, take a look at his track record.

¿Glenn Hoddle de regreso al Tottenham Hotspur?
Hoddle’s name has not come up in any conversation about Tottenham’s managerial role.
The 63-year-old last managed a club in 2006, when he was in charge of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The former England international worked as a coach for Queens Park Rangers during the 2014-15 season.

It’s hard to see Hoddle return to full-time management now.
After all, English hasn’t been in the management game since 2006.
Also, Hoddle is 63 now and may not want to undertake a long-term project that is likely to be the Spurs.
Perhaps Tottenham could approach Hoddle for his contribution in certain areas of training, but it is highly unlikely that he will return as a full-time manager.
