There is less and less left until the end of the world championship and just 10 points separate the main Ducati giants in the standings. Marquez and Bastianini also enjoy good consideration in the GP Australia MotoGP odds and are hoping for a final exploit.

GP Australia 2024: the presentation
The seventeenth race of the 2024 MotoGP will take place on Sunday 20 October with the Australian Grand Prix. We are now approaching the grand finale of the championship, which still seems to be all open. In fact, the last race in Japan saw a triumph Francesco Bagnaiawhich, reaching 382 points overall, has thus returned to the top of the ranking occupied by Jorge Martinat 392. However, he could fit in from the back Enea Bastianinicurrently third in the general ranking with 313 points, only 2 more than Marc Marquez. Bagnaia on the razor’s edge
“Pecco’s” dream is evidently to get his hands on the third world title in a row. However, there have been quite a few retirements collected throughout this season. Nonetheless, the feat is still possible. When he finished the race Bagnaia almost always finished on the podium, with the exception of the Grand Prix of the Americas where he finished fifth. Last year the Ducati star was very clever at mocking Martín even after the accident in Barcelona, but this time the head-to-head seems much tighter.
Australian GP 2024: circuit characteristics, betting odds and prediction
Il Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit it is a 4,448 meter track with 12 curves. The record time was set in 2013 by Marc Marquez and is equal to 1’28”108.
The MotoGP weekend will begin on Friday 18 October with free practice at 1.45 and pre-qualifying at 6.00. On Saturday 19 October the free practices will continue starting from 1.10, and then leave room for the qualifications at 1.50 and 2.15. Afterwards there was the sprint race, scheduled for 6.00. The Grand Prix will therefore take place on Sunday 20 October, starting at 5.00 am.
According to the MotoGP odds, the absolute favorites to win this Grand Prix are Francesco Bagnaia e Jorge Martinindicated at 2.20 and 2.75 respectively. Other Ducati riders follow as Marc Marquez at 3.50 ed Enea Bastianini offered at 10.00. For Pedro Acosta of KTM the share rises to 15.00, while Maverick Vinales of Aprilia e Brad Binder of KTM are offered at 29.00. Further back Franco Morbidelli of Ducati e Aleix Espargaró of Aprilia, both banked at 41.00.
The Ducati is clearly favored as far as the Australian MotoGP GP odds referring to the manufacturers are concerned.
