Governor’s intervention to destroy university achievements: Minister Bindu | Kerala | Deshabhimani

Thiruvananthapuram> Higher Education Minister R Bindu said that Governor Arif Muhammad Khan is threateningly interfering in higher education. Kerala’s higher education is about to undergo a major change. Efforts are being made to transform Kerala’s universities into world-class educational centers. But the Governor, who is supposed to help him, is working to suppress him according to the instructions of the RSS. The minister said the Governor’s position to stop the daily activities of the universities is deplorable. The minister said the chancellor appears to be in an outdated feudal era and Kerala is a country that has transcended all of that. The governor belittles the universities and insults the country.

He has spoken so far showing all respect for the office of governor. But he threatened to fire the ministers. None of them entered politics with the post of minister. The VCs of Kerala are trying to bring the universities forward in a positive way.

The minister said the governor is not acting according to the law. The University must not be orphaned until a technical review petition is submitted. That is why the name for the task was suggested, the minister added. The minister also said that the opposition in support of the Governor’s action is not good for Kerala.
