New Delhi: Opposition leader VD Satheesan said there is no confusion in Congress regarding the Governor’s action. The position was expressed after communicating with the leaders of the UDF. Don’t fall in love with BJP or Pinarayi strategy. The opposition confirms the sentence of the Supreme Court.
The governor said he welcomed the correction. At 11:30 the VCs were not welcome to resign. The opposition disagrees with the governor’s actions. According to the Supreme Court verdict, VCs cannot continue. VD Satheesan said the verdict is applicable to all VC appointments.
When it was said that the governor has the power to withdraw cabinet members from the cabinet, the opposition argued that the governor has no power whatsoever. Now the Supreme Court has ruled that all VC appointments made in violation of UGC rules are illegal. In the case of the Supreme Court, the governor, the university and the government were all on one side. The present judgment is against the Governor, the Government and the VC University.
