Two of the four missing Americans in Mexico are dead, says the governor of the state of Tamaulipas.
Four US citizens were caught in the crossfire and kidnapped by gunmen in Mexico last week. On Tuesday, the news came that only two of them have survived. Further details of the incident are not yet known.
The abduction took place in Matamoros in the state of Tamaulipas on Friday. Unknown perpetrators are said to have shot at the car the four Americans were in, before taking them away.
