Monterrey, Nuevo León.- Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda led the 2023 Graduation ceremony of the Ciudadana University of Nuevo León, from which 1,461 high school, bachelor’s and master’s students graduated.

In his message, García Sepúlveda called on the graduating students to make decisions and continue fighting for their dreams.

“It gives me great pleasure to see everyone of all ages, because age is a simple number. No matter how young or old, determination and dreams with perseverance, and preparing and pulling as we are taught in this land are achieved, that is why we are the best state in Mexico and that the entire Republic of Nuevo León can be heard loudly, unstoppable.” , he pointed out.

“And since we are unstoppable, I invite you not to stop fighting, those who are in high school tomorrow register for the degree, for the degree; Those who are in graduate school tomorrow, take advantage of the fact that it is free and online, do not stop studying, that is dual education.

The Secretary of Education, Sofialeticia Morales, pointed out that the Citizen University is an ambitious project that seeks to democratize knowledge by bringing quality educational programs online and completely free so that the dream of completing secondary and higher education is an achievable reality for everyone. the neolonese.

“The graduates of the Citizen University have a unique aspiration, they have fought and persisted to obtain an education that allows them to overcome the limitations of time and space to achieve, not only their own growth, but greater well-being for their families and their communities, always through their professionalism and their commitment,” said the state official.

Morales Garza indicated that at the beginning of the administration of Governor Samuel García, this university has grown 31 percent in its enrollment with 17,097 active students.

It has also extended its support network to 29 liaison centers in various municipalities, providing care to 22,654 citizens seeking to improve their lives through education.

He stated that in this 2023 graduation, 447 high school students, 443 bachelor’s students, and 571 master’s students will graduate.

The Rector of the Ciudadana University, Alberto Daniel Mora Urbina, announced the opening of four new careers to the curriculum of this educational center, which he said will go hand in hand with the investment for an unstoppable Nuevo León.

These are the Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Sales; Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Customs and Commerce; Engineering in Software Development, and Higher University Technician in Agriculture, all of them in a dual model.
