Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil carry out Eid al-Adha prayers at Masjid Raya Al Jabbar. The prayers were also attended by many residents of West Java.
Reported detikjabar, Thursday (29/6/2023), the chanting of takbir has been reverberating since morning at the Al Jabbar Great Mosque. Thousands of residents filled the entire courtyard to the outer area of the mosque.
After holding the Eid al-Adha prayer, Kang Emil, Ridwan Kamil’s nickname, said his farewell greetings to the residents of West Java. It is known that his position as Governor of West Java will end on September 5.
“I say goodbye as the Governor of West Java because later on Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha next year there will be a new official (Acting Governor),” said Ridwan.
Ridwan Kamil also said the wheels of the economy in West Java had improved this year. This refers to the number of residents who sacrifice and give alms at the moment Eid al-Adha This year.
“We report that the economy of 46 million Muslims has increased. There has been an increase in the value of the qurban compared to last year of around Rp. 152 billion, the difference is the difference. Zakat managed by 2022 is around Rp. 2.4 trillion, until July 2023, already Rp. 3.2 trillion and is predicted at the end of In December, Rp 3.7 trillion of zakat and other funds were collected,” he explained.
