The members of the Rotary Club Machalí received a visit from the Governor of District 4340, Wilma Troncoso Trapp.
“I am making my 60th visit, it is my last visit to the Rotary Club Machalí. It is the obligation of the governors to visit all the clubs at least once a year during their term,” said Troncoso Trapp.
On this visit, his objective was to motivate the club members to continue working and review the proposed goals.
“I come to motivate you to continue working and check the goals you set, because you can achieve the Rotary mention, which is the highest distinction of the club, so that you realize that you still have time to achieve them and that there is still some time left,” said the Governor of District 4340, Wilma Troncoso Trapp.
The Rotary authority explained that the goals correspond to “how many projects are done in the year, how many members want to join, how many members will participate in leadership courses, among others, there are 23 goals to choose from and they require that you meet 13 to qualify as a good club.” , said
Troncoso Trapp, with 13 years of experience as a Rotarian and 8 years in the Rotary ladies’ commission, highlighted the achievements obtained during her administration. “During my administration we achieved a grant for 25 thousand dollars, which is a catastrophe grant, and the we ask for the floods. “It was very important in the work that the clubs that united in the south did.”
For his part, the president of the Rotary Club Machalí de Rancagua, Miguel González Riveros, highlighted the importance of the Governor’s visit “For us, it is a special occasion, since it allows us to share our situations with the directors and receive their vision on our management.”
It should be noted that District 4340, to which the Rancagua area belongs, covers four regions of the country: Valparaíso, Metropolitana, Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins and Maule. Together, these territories have 62 Rotary Clubs and 17 Rotaract Clubs, forming an active network of community service and development led by Rotary in the region.
