Governor Miguel Riquelme Solís Delivers Stable and Safe Coahuila

Saltillo, Coah.- Thanks to the commitment, effort and joint effort between society and the Government, on November 30th the Administration of Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís It will deliver a stable, safe and peaceful Coahuila, which advances along the path of legality, the rule of law, development and prosperity.

This was stated by the State President, remembering that from the beginning of his administration and until the last day of his Government, he will continue to work tirelessly to maintain the peace and tranquility of Coahuila.

“Security is a task that never ends and has been the priority of my Government,” he mentioned.

Riquelme Solís recalled that in the six years of his Government, 452 vehicles were delivered for security tasks, which were distributed among the 38 municipalities and the various security corporations in the entity.

Additionally, a Video Intelligence System world-class, which is made up of more than 1,270 cameras, in which more than 600 million pesos were invested.

Likewise, its elements have been equipped with weapons, cartridges, tactical uniforms and radio communication equipment, so that they can confront the criminal gangs that try to enter our territory.

He recalled that the people of Coahuila have gone through very difficult times, in which the courage, honor, loyalty and patriotism has been evident, even at risk to their own integrity, of our Police and the members of the Mexican Army and the National Guard.

In that sense, he expressed that Coahuila’s gratitude to the Army has translated into a permanent alliance and the strengthening of military infrastructure in the five regions of the entity.

Miguel Riquelme pointed out that with the inauguration of the barracks of the 47th Military Zone in Piedras Negras, and the delivery of the facilities of the 47th Military Zone and its Housing Unit in Ciudad Acuña, the entity now has 18 military barracks and a Military hospital.

He highlighted that the military barracks represent an investment of more than 2,580 million pesos, and that the last major investment in that sense was the 480 million pesos, of state resources, that were applied in the construction of the Ciudad Acuña mega barracks.
