Governor Maru Campos called on citizens to share with Chihuahuan girls and boys, textbooks for preschool, primary and secondary levels, which have been used in previous school cycles.
The material will be received as of next August 21 at school campuses and in the collection centers that the State Government will enable, whose location will be announced through the government portal www.chihuahua.gob.mx and in its different sociodigital platforms.
Through a video posted on her social networks, the state president stated that: “Chihuahuan children will not be allowed to stop learning. It is a guarantee that they will have the quality educational material necessary to start this next school”.
He said that the textbooks prepared by the federal government have been questioned by parents, teachers and specialists, because they lack content in mathematics, Spanish and science, necessary to prepare children for the opportunities that are presented in the state. .
The head of the Executive announced that the Ministry of Education and Sports (SEyD) is working on the development of its own quality materials, a task for which a team made up of teachers, parent associations, education specialists was appointed , and representatives of the indigenous peoples and communities of the region.
Once its preparation is completed, the materials will serve as didactic support for the teachers of the entity, so that they can carry out their work with the security and support of having specially revised guides to guarantee the learning of the Chihuahuan students.
