The governor of Limburg, Jos Lantmeeters, wants to set aside 1 billion euros for the Einstein telescope. That telescope would collect data about gravitational waves. With that data, scientists can look further into the universe. Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany are candidates to house the telescope. Lantmeesters finds the border region of the three countries, Limburg, an ideal place.
