“The other thing,” he added, referring to Chihuahua, “corresponds to a situation that is not attached to the pedagogical proposal of transformation. By announcing that the entity is going to develop its own educational material, the state president invited Chihuahuans to participate on August 21 in the collection of basic education books, corresponding to previous years.
“Search in your house, in your family’s, with your friends, preschool, primary and secondary textbooks from previous years, books that you no longer use and share them,” he said in a video on social networks.
Campos Galván explained that the books could be taken to educational establishments and various collection points that were published on the official pages of the State Government.
In addition, the president stressed that the textbooks have received various criticisms from parents, teachers and specialists, because they lack basic and necessary content.
“That is why in Chihuahua we proposed not to deliver them, we listened to the parents and that is why we filed a constitutional controversy before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, which determined for now not to deliver the books while it studies and resolves the merits of the matter,” held.

“I ask all of us to unite, to work together as we know how to do it, in two specific actions: the first, we need your urgent help, search your house, your family, with your friends, look for textbooks on preschool, primary and secondary school from previous years, books that you no longer use, share them and take them to your children’s schools starting Monday, August 21,” he said.
