jpnn.com – DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan is committed to creating justice and equality of religious communities in obtaining the right to worship in peace and comfort.
This commitment was shown by Anies by distributing funds for houses of worship for all religions with a value of Rp. 149 billion in Jakarta, during his tenure as governor of DKI.
The Head of the Mental Spiritual Division of the DKI Jakarta Dikmental Bureau, Aceng Zaeni, revealed that there were 65 houses of worship from various religious communities assisted by the provincial government in 2022.
“There are 65 houses of worship in 2022, be it churches, mosques, monasteries, prayer rooms and so on,” said Aceng, Tuesday, (22/3).
The total financial assistance distributed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for houses of worship for all religions in 2022 is Rp. 11 billion.
Aceng also explained that the aid was distributed to renovate 65 houses of worship for the religious community.
“The grant is Rp. 11 billion. It is used to renovate the construction of houses of worship,” said Aceng.
Aceng ensured that the funding for houses of worship for all religious communities in Jakarta continues to grow every year.
