Government’s Support for the Bill on Metropolitan Regional Express Services (SERM) in National Assembly

“We will support the bill tabled in the National Assembly” on metropolitan regional express services (SERM), announced Minister Delegate for Transport Clément Beaune on May 3, 2023, during the Senate’s current affairs question session. Unsurprisingly since, as he recalled, the development of these services, also referred to as metropolitan RER, is one of the Government’s priorities.

A law was long awaited before the summer, and it is ultimately not the Government itself which will carry the text, but the deputies of the majority who have seized it.
