The Minister of Transportation, William Camargo, confirmed that as of September 26, payments began through the Banco Agrario y Fiduagraria.
“This is already part of the task that we have to carry out after September 26. We already have a registration for taxi drivers, who are already updating their data in Runt,” said the head of the portfolio.
This measure is a compensation that is taken as an alternative to the differential rate that had initially been proposed for the price of gasoline. The initiative seeks to alleviate the impact of monthly increases in fuel costs for taxi drivers.
Learn the step by step process of updating data in the RUNT
Paso 1:
- Enter the website www.runt.gov.co
- Click on the banner: Data update in RUNT for taxi drivers
- Select the “Data update in RUNT” option
- Click on “enter here”.
Paso 2:
- In the form enter the requested information
- Select the check boxes “I accept terms and conditions” and “I accept data processing policies of the RUNT 2.0 SAS Concession”
- Click on the “Consult” option.
Once validated, several questions are enabled to verify the identity of the person who is going to be updated.
Paso 3:
- Select the correct answer to each of the questions and when finished click on the “Send” button.
If the system identifies that the type and document number entered has a driver’s license in active status for the categories that qualify you to drive public service vehicles, the check box “I certify that I am a taxi driver” is displayed.
Paso 4:
- Enter personal information and fill out the notification address fields.
- If you have an active public service driving license in categories C1, C2 or C3, the system will enable the fields “I certify that I am a taxi driver”, “License plate” and “Payment method”. Enter the information.
Paso 5:
- Click on the “Register” option. If you did not select the “I certify that I am a taxi driver” checkbox, the system generates the alert message to review addresses.
- Once you have read the information and are sure to make the changes, click on the “Accept” option. If “I certify that I am a taxi driver” was selected, the system generates a message. Click “Accept to finish the process.”
It should be noted that the first financial compensation to taxi drivers will be given at the end of September. The following payments will follow the same line, being delivered in the last days of the month.
