The Government has just updated the marketing prices of the seven most representative cuts of meat in the Fair Prices program until November 15.
Prices only apply in butcher shops participating in the program, large supermarket chains and regional supermarkets.
The seven cuts at fixed prices are: roast, buttock, matambre, vacuum, skirt, shoulder and roast tapa. Meanwhile, the Government recalled that the Patagonian region has a differential of 6% and that the cuts of meat available in that area are boneless.
The measure is part of Fair Prices, one of the tools with which the Government tries to contain food inflation, the item with the highest incidence in all sectors.
The price per kilo of each cut until November 15 will be: roasted $1,539 per kilo; roast cover: $1,539; empty $2,010; buttock $2,044; matambre $1,948; skirt $1,002; and palette $1,654.
In this new edition, the acceleration of prices is observed with respect to September-October. For example, the buttock increased by $97, the matambre by $93 and the skirt by $48.
