Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Gro. After highlighting that these six years of government have been about the recovery of labor rights, welfare and the purchasing power of workers, Claudia Sheinbaum, presidential candidate of the Let’s keep making history coalition, insisted that her opponent in the race, Xóchitl Gálvez, “She is corrupt” and the best example, he said, are “the contracts that she accepts every time she has been a public official.”
At the same time, in a press conference, he acknowledged that the Citizen Movement standard bearer, Jorge Álvarez Máynez, defended his project before PRI, PAN and Claudio X González, who asked him to resign his candidacy.
He recalled that in 2018, X. González intended that Ricardo Anaya would decline for José Antonio Meade or vice versa; “Then they even tried to get a businessman to be a candidate and it didn’t work out for them. The truth is, I recognize the attitude that Álvarez Máynez has taken because he is defending his project and also what he said regarding the unpresentable multi-member candidates, the presidents of the parties.
Accompanied, among other candidates, by Félix Salgado Macedonio, the Morena, PT and PVEM candidate said that Gálvez “we call her corrupt because she is corrupt. And the best example is the contracts that she accepts every time she has been a public official.”
She highlighted that in the first debate “I showed contracts from her companies when she was head of the Miguel Hidalgo delegation and later as a senator. And as a senator, she simulated a restricted invitation, because her two companies participate in a restricted invitation, which is illegal under the Procurement Law.”
Later we discovered, he added, “that it is a modus operandi because since 2006, when he was head of the National Commission of Indigenous Peoples, he already had contracts with the National Water Commission.”
He added that it is not up to the prosecutors to investigate, “in any case. What corresponds to me as a candidate of our movement and next president, is to denounce at this moment what that political option represents. That is why we always tell people, there are only two options: transformation or corruption.”
He also said that he will continue talking about the real estate cartel, because “they are not going to silence us,” accusing the Electoral Institute of Mexico City of not acting impartially, but with “an orientation towards a candidate.”
He said that the precautionary measures imposed on the term “real estate cartel” are atypical and restrict freedom of expression.
The IECM maintained “it is not acting impartially” despite the fact that there are “investigation folders, with detained people, linked to the current PRIAN candidate in Mexico City. That’s why we already call it the real estate prianilla, because they are not going to silence us, we are going to continue denouncing the corruption of the PAN in Mexico City, and today linked to the PRI.”
In addition, he questioned that the searching mother Cecilia Flores denounced the existence of a clandestine crematorium in the country’s capital, based on two electoral credentials stolen a year ago from two people who are alive.
“It is reported based on two voter credentials that there is a crematorium or a place where there are bodies. This morning, the prosecutor’s office and the city police say ‘those voter credentials belong to two people who are alive, who had their voter card stolen a year ago’, a mother and her son who are in perfect condition in his house. What is the proof? Let everyone make their interpretation.”
He mentioned that searching mothers from the capital “were upset with this person because he didn’t even ask them anything, but she alone went there to find two voter credentials. It is fine that the city authorities are reviewing it, but the supposed proof was the voter credentials. And what is striking is that today the media takes it as true. Let the investigation be done and reviewed, but make your own conclusions,” she suggested.
The presidential candidate confirmed that on this tour she will not visit Apatzingán, Michoacán.
“Tomorrow we are going to Uruapan, Chilchota and Zamora. At first Apatzingán had been mentioned and then the colleagues from Michoacán themselves modified the agenda to go to other municipalities that we had not visited since I began my tour of the country, a long time ago.
