The management of Tejido Social, presented the book titled “The Engineer: Illustrious for his spiritual wealth”, a biographical and testimonial account of the legacy and work developed by Rigoberto Arnulfo Orellana Canales, a young man originally from Sitio del Niño in San Juan Opico.
The father of Engineer Rigoberto, Tito Orellana, the official of the Governance Area of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Laura Rivera, and Carlos Marroquín, director of Tejido Social, who presented the book to the family of Engineer Rigoberto.
In Sitio del Niño there is one of the 11 Urban Centers for Wellbeing and Opportunities (CUBO) that the government together with Tejido Social keeps in operation, representing a strong generator of development for youth and children in the area.
Said CUBO was inaugurated in January 2021 and was called “Engineer Rigoberto Orellana” in honor of the work he did for the youth within his community and who was a victim of the violence that affected the country in previous years.
