Government Prohibits Local Homecoming in Agglomeration Areas!

Jakarta

The government forbids local homecoming in the agglomeration area. This prohibition is a form of effort to prevent transmission of COVID-19.

“To break the confusion of the community concerned local homecoming in agglomeration areas, I emphasize that the government prohibits any form of homecoming, both across provinces and in one agglomeration district / city, with the urgency of maximally preventing physical interactions as a means of transmitting the virus from one person to another, “said a spokesman for the COVID-19 Task Force. 19, Wiku Adisasmito, in a press conference, Thursday (6/5/2021).

Wiku asked the public not to worry about the prohibition. Activities in essential sectors continue to operate.

“However, it needs to be emphasized that other activities apart from homecoming activities in an agglomeration city / regency, especially in essential sectors, will continue to operate without any kind of isolation in order to accelerate regional socio-economic activities,” he said.
