Brownsville, Texas.- As part of his work activities in the state of Texas, Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya made a courtesy visit to the Starbase facilities, owned by the aerospace manufacturer SpaceX, marking the start of a collaborative relationship between the State Government and the North American firm.
Accompanied by the Consul General of the United States in Matamoros, Brianna Powers, the Tamaulipas president was received by Kathy Lueders, director of Starbase, who thanked this important visit by the Tamaulipas president and recognized the possibility of starting joint work for the development of projects of mutual interest.
“We can work together to accomplish our two important missions,” said Kathy Lueders, who heads the rocket launch and industrial complex for the leading space exploration company.
The visit of the governor of Tamaulipas took place within the framework of the National Congress of Space Activities, which was held in Matamoros and after his meeting with mayors of the Texas Valley.
