Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas. – With the presence of SpaceX, through Kathryn Lueders, and the Mexican astronaut Rodolfo Neri Vela, among other personalities, the Aerospace Congress will not only put Tamaulipas on the world’s radar, but will result in the arrival of visitors, investments , conferences and much more, promoting the tourist mosaic of the entity.
Benjamín Hernández Rodríguez, Secretary of Tourism in Tamaulipas, pointed out that this November 7 and 8, the “Mundo Nuevo” Convention Center in Matamoros will be the headquarters of the “National Congress of Space Activities (CONACES) 2024.”
In this regard, he highlighted the recent investment by Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya, who injected resources of 20 million pesos into the “Mundo Nuevo” Convention Center to improve its facilities so that they are on par with the best spaces to attend large congresses and forums.
The program includes keynote conferences, workshops, round tables, among other activities, in addition to the intervention of Mexican astronaut Rodolfo Neri Vela, and for the first time there will be the presence of SpaceX, through Kathryn Lueders, to present her vision on the future of space exploration.
“In short, universities and research centers from both sides of the border will be present at this meeting of the scientific, technological and industrial community,” he noted.
He said that thousands of visitors and potential tourists are expected during the two days of the space day, which will leave a great economic impact, as shown by the magnificent hotel occupancy that is already registered in the municipality.
“So this November 7th and 8th the appointment is in Tamaulipas, we are waiting for you in Matamoros, because you will surely fall in love with Tamaulipas,” he concluded.
